For anyone hoping for a short break from the hustle and bustle of the city, a trip away from Cannes to the Corniche du Var is a definite must. This picturesque stretch clings to the hillside overlooking the beautiful River Var. This charming area boasts stunning views of both the river valley and the Nice hinterland. The lovely slopes of the Corniche du Var are dotted with olive groves and flower fields, and this is a wonderful area in which to spot the shy local wildlife.
