Coaraze

Anyone visiting Cannes should take some time to visit the Coaraze area to the north of the city. The village of Coaraze boasts beautifully restored medieval buildings, many of which are occupied by the talented local craftsmen. The village is dotted with beautiful squares and pretty terraced gardens. Throughout the year, villagers celebrate a number of festivals, including the Fete de St Jean towards the end of June and the Chestnut Festival at the end of October.
